30 Jun 2010
It was business as usual at the various business forums held on 30 June at the 2010 Singapore International Water Week.
There were various forums for different regions and countries: Japan, Southeast Asia and the Middle East & North Africa.
All three forums concentrated on different topics, the Middle East & North Africa business forum was centred entirely on water reuse.
The South East Asian forum, on the other hand, was based more on the water supply situation and the opportunities associated with water supply projects in various countries within the region, including water infrastructure development opportunities in Singapore.
The Japan business forum was one that emphasised Japan’s new growth strategies, the importance of public private financial partnerships and Japan’s wishes to export their water technology to other countries.
At the end of each forum delegates and forum participated in round table discussions with various CEOs from various water related companies before finally culminating in a networking session to allow participants an opportunity to discuss further business opportunities.
There are more forums taking place on 1 July 2010. They include the Australia, China, Europe Asia, India and Americas business forums. For more details, visithttp://www.siww.com.sg/2010-business-forums.
